OVER 22,000 people will be running the streets of Dublin this weekend as the 2019 Dublin Marathon takes place on Sunday morning.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to track the runners in this year’s Dublin Marathon:
How can I track runners in the 2019 Dublin Marathon?
People can follow the progress of entrants in this year’s Dublin Marathon by using the official KBC Dublin Marathon Tracking System.
The tracker can be accessed online right here with the tracker also available to download via the mobile app.
When does the 2019 Dublin Marathon start?
The Dublin Marathon gets underway at 8.40 am on Sunday October 27th.
22,500 runners are set to take part in the 26.2 mile race which will begin at Fitzwilliam Square before ending at Merrion Square North.
The race is also split into a number of waves to ensure there is no congestion at the starting point and also to create mutually competitive groupings.
Entrants are assigned a wave based on their previous marathon times while first time marathon runners will be given an estimate time.

How will the 2019 Dublin Marathon affect traffic in the city?
A number of roads will be closed due to the race with some closures starting as early as Friday evening to give time to the race organisers to set up the finish line.
