STRICTLY’s Karen Hauer mortified fans on Saturday night after she ripped off her wig during her samba with Chris Ramsey.

The partners claimed they were “cursed” after their Halloween routine ended in disaster, with Karen’s wig flying across the dancefloor.

The troublesome hair piece had been irritating Karen throughout her dance and she could be seen holding it in place as they took to the floor.

It threatened to slip halfway through their energetic routine to Backstreet Boy’s Backstreet’s Back, but she finally ripped off the hair piece and chucked it away.

Presenter Tess Daly could be heard screeching: “Oh no, she’s lost her hair!

“Karen’s lost her hair, what’s going on?”

Some fans sympathised and others laughed, as one said on Twitter: “That wig was a bloody menace. Right from the very beginning.”

Another wrote: “Karen losing her wig” alongside a string of laughing emojis.

And more wrote: “Karen’s wig!!! Screaming!!”

Earlier on Saturday night, Kelvin Fletcher stripped to a loincloth to play a caveman in the Halloween special’s opening dance.

Viewers swooned over the hunky ex-Emmerdale actor after he lept off a rock in the skimpy material in the epic group routine.

One viewer said: “It’s great seeing Kelvin in his state of undress!”

Another said: “Was the whole routine an excuse to get Kelvin dressed as a caveman”

And one more typed: “Excellent opening dance. Kelvin can definitely wear that outfit again”

Other fans begged to know how Kelvin had developed his ripped physique as one asked: “Did Kelvin get them arms from lifting a few bales of hay on the Emmerdale set?! Sign me up”

Kelvin previously revealed that he gets up at 5am to workout before Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.

And he has lost 11lb despite eating 3,000 calories a day.

The 35-year-old hunk has been wowing viewers with his impressive physique and smouldering dance talent since making his debut on the BBC show as Jamie Laing’s replacement last month.
