HE IS one of the UK’s next big names in the music industry but while Yungblud’s career is just starting to sky-rocket, his little black book of celebrity mates is already bulging at the seams.

When he stopped by Bizarre HQ for a chat, the Doncaster born star, whose new EP, Underrated Youth, is currently at No6 in the Official UK Album Charts, admitted he spent the early days of his career drinking himself into oblivion with my favourite Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi, before going on to rub shoulders with music royalty.

He said: “Lewis was here in London trying to get signed like me. No one wanted to f*****g know, so we’d just be getting drunk five nights a week. We caused so much trouble.

“We still keep in contact. We were in America together and we were like, ‘What the f*** is going on?’

“Now we’re like sat in Soho House saying, ‘How the f*** did we get here?’”

Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, has also rubbed up Noel Gallagher the wrong way – a must-do for all young stars.

He explained: “Me and Adam the guitar player snuck into a party. Noel comes up to me and I’m like, ‘Hello Noel nice to meet you,’ and he was like, ‘How the f*** did you get in here?’

“I was like, ‘You’ll know who I am soon’. I know his daughter Anais pretty well and when I last saw her, I asked: ‘Does your dad know who I am yet?’ and she was like, ‘Of course he f***ing does.’ It’s mad.”

The bash, which also saw Yungblud partying with Charli XCX, Damon Albarn and Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian, turned into a wild Primrose Hill party.

Yungblud added: “We all ended up at someone’s mad house in Primrose Hill until like four in the morning.

“Serge is trying on someone’s West Ham shirt and I’m just like, ‘This is f*****g mental’.”

The singer, who is busy writing his next album on his current European tour, also counts Florence Welch and Machine Gun Kelly among his biggest fans.

But while his blossoming career is only just taking off, the punk rocker has already achieved one of his biggest dreams – playing to the people who used to bully him at school when he played the main stages at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals.

He said: “To be on the stage and see all the geezers who used to bully me or used to f****g hate me, I was like, ‘’Hello. How’s it going?’

“To see some of the lads who used to put me in a locker for wearing eye liner is like that’s the best thing.

“If people hurt, if they bring you down, just love. Just be kind and be nice. That’s what casual sabotage is all about. Keep your heart on a plate.”

There are massive things coming for this lad, mark my words.
