Hunt for missing brothers, aged 3 and 4, ‘taken by their sex offender dad’

A DESPERATE search is underway for two missing boys amid fears they were abducted by their sex offender dad.

Clarence Michael Ransom, 52, was last seen with Maverick, 3, and Orion, 4, at a day care centre in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Ransom is believed to have travelled to Mexico on the day he picked his two sons up[/caption]

Police say he picked them up on October 8 and then could have travelled to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

They believe he then returned to the US the day after.

It is not known whether he took his two sons with him or their current whereabouts.

The dad, who also goes by the first name Michael, is a non-registered sex offender.

MISSING FOR THREE WEEKS

He was described by police as 5ft 11, weighing 195lb (14 stone) with blue eyes and tattoos.

Ransom was last seen driving a silver 2013 Toyota Camry with temporary licence plates.

Maverick and Orion are both 3ft 6 and each weigh around 30lb (2st 2lb).

NATIONWIDE SEARCH

Ransom shares custody of the children with his estranged wife.

Police have now issued a nationwide arrest warrant for Ransom.

The charges against him include failing to register as a sex offender and not complying with a custodial agreement.

Ransom’s last known address was 2250 E. Missouri Ave. in Las Cruces
