MICHAEL “VENOM” PAGE” will battle Derek Anderson in a blockbuster Bellator London main event next month.
The MMA promotion announced the huge welterweight clash for an already stacked card at the SSE Wembley Arena on November 23.
And the show will close with a glorious homecoming for MVP against the American after his return to winning ways in Dublin a fortnight ago.
The Londoner won over a passionate Irish crowd after spectacularly defeating Richard Kielty with a flying knee.
That extended his record to 15 wins from 16 MMA bouts and it was the ideal response to suffering his first career loss in May at the hands of Douglas Lima.
Now the 32-year-old will be counting the seconds until he steps into the cage in front of his local crowd for the first time in 18 months.
Anderson will also come into the clash full of confidence after his dominant win over Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos via a unanimous decision at last weekend’s Bellator 229.
The 16-3 San Diego native will now be looking to make it three triumphs on the bounce when he arrives in the capital.
Joining Page and Anderson on the main card are Fabian Edwards (8-0) and Mike Shipman (13-2), who go head-to-head in a middleweight grudge match.
And Terry Brazier (11-2) takes on newcomer lightweight newcomer Soren Bak (13-1).
