ANDY Cohen admitted that he ‘kinda’ hoped that Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice cheated on husband Joe Giudice while he was in prison.
The Bravo boss made the comment while hosting Watch What Happens Live when he was interviewing Teresa’s sister-in-law on Wednesday.
He asked Melissa and American Horror Story actress Leslie Grossman if they believed the current rumours that Teresa had done the dirty on Joe.
Melissa responded first, she sharply replied: “I say no.”
When Andy repeated the question, she responded with the same answer and refused to give any further information.
Leslie on the other hand had a different reaction, she replied: “I’m sure that Joe has cheated on Teresa and I hope Teresa has cheated on Joe.”
Andy said: “When those rumours came out, I was kinda saying, ‘I hope Teresa’s with this guy!
“The woman deserves happiness! Let her have some fun, my God!”
He then went on to ask the women for their thoughts on ‘Joe and Teresa: Unlocked’.
Speaking of the couple’s first joint interview since Joe’s release from prison, Melissa said: “I mean, I thought they looked uncomfortable, to say the least.
“There was a little awkwardness there, but I do think it’s super hard to speak to your husband for the first time over a teleprompter and on TV like that. I just think you can tell they haven’t seen each other in a while.
Leslie said: “I thought he’d be a little more contrite.
He just seemed like, “It is what it is!’ That was kind of the vibe,” Leslie went on. “And I just feel like Teresa deserves to be happy. And may I say I am so impressed with Gia,” she added, looking at Melissa.
“Your niece is an amazing young lady. She brought tears to my eyes when I watched that first episode. What a great kid.”
Melissa agreed that “Gia has an amazing head on her shoulders.”
Andy said in a previous show that he was shocked by the “deadness” of Teresa and Joe’s relationship.
He said: “What shocked me the most was their honesty about their lack of attraction for each other and the seeming deadness of their relationship,”
Their legal troubles came to a head when they were charged with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud, in July 2013.
The Bravo stars submitted fraudulent mortgage and other loan applications from 2001 through 2008, and made false claims about their employment status and salaries, according to the indictment.

The couple lied and concealed information in their petition for bankruptcy protection initiated in October 2009, the indictment said.
Joe, 49, also failed to file tax returns for the years 2004 through 2008, when he was alleged to have earned nearly $1 million, the government said.
