ARSENAL ace Rob Holding has joked pal Calum Chambers was “sad” when he got a girlfriend – but he’s “finally over it”.

The Arsenal star, 24, was grilled on his bromance with Chambers during an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit.

And Holding answered in hilarious manner, revealing his Gunners team-mate is coming to terms with the loss.

He was asked: “Hi Rob. How did Calum Chambers react when you told him you’ve got a girlfriend and he’s no longer your first priority?”

And the former Bolton defender hilariously replied: “He was sad at first, but i think he is finally over it. Hahaha.”

Holding is currently dating Paige Almendariz – an Instagram model who also stars for Las Vegas’ football team.

The pair seemingly first met while Holding on holiday in the US last summer after they were pictured together on Instagram in Clarksburg, a tiny town in northern California.

During his session on Reddit, Holding also revealed he would beat Chambers in a sprint… but only because his good friend will never read his reply.

He was asked: “Who’s winning a hundred meter dash you or Chambers?

Holding replied: “Me, because Calum will never see this answer hahaha.”
